Strangely enough, I am the opposite, and rather than staying up late at night, I find I am at my most creative in the mornings. However, with a full-time job this only really leaves Saturday and Sunday mornings to knock out a post, but I do find I write a lot quicker and am more focussed at these times.

Glad you enjoyed the post Christine; it was great to meet you too and to swap some thoughts and experiences about the joys and pitfall of bringing up teenage/twenty-something boys in the modern world; and of life in general in post-referendum Britain. It’s also good to know that you enjoy your beer as much, or perhaps even more, than Martin. My wife only drinks occasionally and is not a huge fan of beer, although having said that we do have a photo from last autumn, of her getting stuck into, and enjoying, a large mug of alcohol free beer in a Regensburg beer garden.

Martin, what can I say, apart from you are an impossibly hard act to follow; both in terms of output and just getting around. There are often posts of yours that I wish to comment on, but by the time I get round to it, you have put several more up!

I will however, comment on your Pantiles post later today, as like Christine I have fond memories of the Sussex Arms from back in the day when it was run by Dennis and Barbara and was very much part of the “alternative scene” in Tunbridge Wells.

ps. Very much looking forward to you and Christine visiting Tonbridge this summer, when Fuggles (and possibly another new venture) has opened. Also looking forward to seeing your photos of Ely.
Paul Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09678639237696546268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722137562852954269.post-25362596436819498712017-04-29T18:18:20.368+01:002017-04-29T18:18:20.368+01:00Paul - congratulations on your powers of recall fr...Paul - congratulations on your powers of recall from Friday ! Some great photos there; the city and pubs are particularly photogenic. I'm glad you enjoyed your beer; I had fresh air in the Draymans and the 3% Mild in Regent, but at least it was good mild ! The Milton Sparta was £4,but incidentally the TT Landlord £4.50, which rather startled me.

I can't compete with your post but will put my photos up this evening for completenessAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6722137562852954269.post-63128353796971517562017-04-29T12:05:09.589+01:002017-04-29T12:05:09.589+01:00That is a mind boggling fact. We still are not convinced of Mrs RM's existence. We only have you and Mudgie as witnesses to her existence. Great posts. Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04039590363732278703noreply@blogger.com
